The Clearblue® Smart Ovulation Test helps her identify and track her two most fertile days. The test must be used with the FREE Clearblue® Period Cycle Tracker App.

Clinically validated camera-read

Once she has set up the app and has entered her cycle information, the app will show her where she is in her cycle and will calculate her test days. After testing she will need to use the app to capture an image of her result.

This is a simple process - all she has to do is place the test stick on a flat surface with the pink symbol facing up. She then positions her phone above the test stick and uses the on-screen guide to correctly position it. Once in place the guide will turn green and the image will be taken automatically.

Getting her result

The result is then analyzed, displayed and automatically saved in the app. If the LH surge was not detected, she will see a blank circle and will need to test again the following day. When the LH surge is detected, the app will display a smiley face and ‘Peak Fertility’ result.

Seeing a Peak Fertility result means she has reached the two most fertile days in her cycle – the day of the LH surge and the day after. These are her two best days to have sex to maximize her chances of getting pregnant.

Tracking made easy: results in her personal LH graph

As she tests, the app will start plotting her results in the LH graph.

The numbers on the left indicate how dark the test line is. A higher number means a higher level of luteinizing hormone.

The key thing to remember with the graph is that she does not need to reach a specific LH value each cycle for the app to detect her LH surge. This is because the app has a smart algorithm that adapts to her personal LH levels each time she tests. This means low LH surges, even lower 25 mIU/ml can be identified.

Adaptive algorithm

The Clearblue® Smart Ovulation Test uses a unique adaptive algorithm that: 

• Detects more LH surges than without adaptive algorithm 
• Detects low LH surges – even lower than 25mIU/ml 
• Identifies the peak fertile days earlier than ovulation

Calendar view

She can also log and track her periods, period flow, sex, conceiving methods, key symptoms related to her menstrual cycle and pregnancy test results.

And she can see all her logged data in her calendar screen.
